Commencement! I graduted on June 7, 2007! The day was beautiful but very long. We had to be dressed and in line ready to go by 6:45am. Then we had to wait in line for over an hour before we processed in. Hours later, we finally we got to hear Bill Gates. The day before we heard Bill Clinton speak. Harvard definitely gets better speakers than UCF! Now that my time at Harvard is done, I miss campus, my friends, and Boston. I'll cherish my memories forever. The past nine months in Cambridge was truly an unforgettable experience!

Mom's trip to Boston! Here we are eating dinner at the Top of the Hub overlooking the city. We ate some great food! Places we ate: Cheers (the original), the North End (Pagliucca's and Mike's Pastry), the Chocolate Bar at the Langham Hotel, and the Omni Parker House (home of the first Boston Cream Pie). It was all so good! The second picture is with the beautiful (but slightly cut off-oops) city behind us.

Boston Marathon! Rachel, Doug, and I had a great time watching the marathon yesterday. We saw Doug's brother run, and then we walked the last 3 miles of the course in the spectator area to the finish line. Patriot's Day (when the marathon is held) is a state holiday when schools close (except Harvard) and everyone comes out to watch the race. The weather wasn't great, but it at least stopped raining for the last half of the race. I wonder how many marathoners are laying in bed right now because they can't move? They are all nuts. No one should run for three hours straight. I'm just glad I was watching the race and not running it!

St. Patty's Day in Boston! Doug and Rachel at our usual spot: Tommy Doyle's! You have to go to an Irish bar on St. Patrick's Day! And, of course, you have to wear green- Annick and me and our matching shirts.

GSE ski trip on Saturday March 10. Here are some pics from the ski trip to Wachusett Mountain in MA that I organized with Student Government. It was a great day for skiing- it was in the 40s! But it was pretty crowded. The pics are of Kevin and me, Annick skiing for her first time with the help of her fiance David, and the nice view from the top. After stopping to take the pic from the top of the mountain on the steep blue run, I proceeded to tumble down the mountain. Haha, but I think the pic was worth it! It was a great time, but now I'm sore! I guess it was a good workout.

Snow day! Well, not a real snow day where class is cancelled, but it was snowing yesterday. These are pics from my dorm window. It was very pretty in the morning, and by the time I left my room it had stopped. Everything was covered with a fresh coat of snow. And we're supposed to be getting a little more snow later, too.

Maine weekend! This weekend we went up to stay at a professor's house in Maine. There was 8 of us (me, Rachel, Doug, Amy, Kay, Kevin, Mike, and Carrie) who stayed at the house (on 14 acres) that was build in 1753. It was a funky old (and cold!) house. Below is a pic of the house, Mike and me on the property, and our festive dessert (which I unfortunately didn't eat because of the wheat). But we still had a great time, and even spend Saturday on the slopes! It was nice and there was plenty of snow.
